Melissa is the debut studio album from Mercyful Fate which was released in 1983, which contains seven tracks, in this case are all themed world of darkness, witches, blood and revenge. make Melissa album as one  of the separate icon for the band Mercyful Fate.

in fiction, Melissa is the name of the witch who was killed by a Catholic priest with burned alive,  
just like we read in some literature about the massacre by the burning witches in the Middle Ages, because in regard as Satanists.
